I am not a dealer, I have a 2000 Town Car Cartier, 145K mi. The driver's seat won't go forward or backward, just clack, clack.
I can't find a used seat track for it. Can I just switch the driver's seat track with the passenger's seat track? I don't care if the passenger's seat is struck.

Well I believe the tracks are backwards from drivers to passenger and I don't think it would work. Plus it's usually not the tracks. It's the motor that breaks down the gear in the motor. You could switch the motors if it's the gear on the motor
