Hello Scotty, I am new here. I have been driving my dad's Automatic 2000 Toyota Celica for a year now to get to school, and every time I go down hill and shift to 2nd gear, the car would jolt around and I immediately shift back to drive. 1st gear's fine, but I want to ask what could be the cause of this spasm. It's 200k+ in mileage and the car's falling apart as we speak. Like to hear from you back!

The 2nd gear is wearing out.
