Scotty, I saw a 2000 tundra with 70k miles 1 owner no accidents with Leer camper shell and bed cover for $9k. Do you think this would be a good buy if I haggle the dealer? Are these early trucks any good or should I go newer?

Everybody seems to think that car/truck prices are crazy right now, so I wont hazard a guess on the price. Condition is the key element in older used vehicles anyway, not years or mileage.

That year, there was a corrosion problem on Tundras - so check that and the items listed here carefully -

It's in excellent condition everything seems brand new. The bed still shines with red paint. Very low mileage and 4wd. Also, the truck underwent the frame replacement, so the frame is all good.

I haven't used this site, except to check on some basics on recalls, etc. on my current cars, but it might give you some idea of going prices, etc. Let us know ihow it works for you.
