Hey guys I am looking at a 2000 Volkswagen Passat GLX V6 2.8L with 135k Miles and a 5 speed manual transmission on it, the interior is nice and same with the exterior I haven’t bought yet but am going to look at it in person and if I were to buy it what are somethings that are notoriously bad or something major that should be inspected prior to buying. I am buying it for 1800 from a dealership whose previous owners were a grandfather and grandson, I was asking informed to worry about the timing belt on it as I was told they rubber and break a lot of the time causing engine failure, I asked the dealership if it was ever changed and the owner told me he doesn’t know. Thanks for any help or advice. Also my main purpose is to simply learn how to drive manual and it’s the cheapest nicest looking car there is in my area
