- Dear scotty, I took my 2000 volvo s80 ECM out my self and did a welding repair for some damaged line, and changed a capacitor..then when I put it back and tried to start engine right away, it did not start..I had cranking but no start...Do I have to put the key to on position for a while (30 min) without starting for some learning or so??

call the Volvo dealer they will know for sure I've never worked on one
