2001 Buick Park Avenue 113k miles.

Hey guys. I am doing the trans tune power steering cleanse I saw scotty do on YT. I was recommended MaxLife Multi-Vehicle Full Synthetic ATF to top up my steering fluid when finished. I noticed it says it is ATF fluid not power steering. Should I be OK? The valv maxlife DOES show up under power steering fluid on ROCKAUTO. I just want to be safe. "The boat" has been running like a dream thanks to all your help.

GM Power Steering Fluid
Steering System
(GM Part No. 1052884
1050017
or equivalent).

So why don't you just use the correct fluid?

It costs a whopping $7

Where'd you find it that cheap?

It just mentions

GM Power Steering Fluid
Steering System
(GM Part No. 1052884
1050017
or equivalent).

Since i'm not flushing out all the old power steering fluid, would it be oK if I mixed in that maxlife ATF?

I just websearched the part number. There are plenty of results.

description says replaces: 1050017, 89020661, 89021182:

This valvoline one at Advance Auto specifically says it's compatible with the GM part number

Thanks! This is the last thing I have to do on my car for a while. Just didn't want to put the wrong liquid in there.
