Hi Scotty-

Love your YouTube Channel- I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota 4.7L V8 with 145,000 miles. Recently it has been shuddering at highway speed, sometime intermittently bringing up Code P1391. How can I remmedy this and how much should it cost me to fix.. or is this a part I can replace myself?

Check the camshaft position sensor and the crankshaft position sensor. If one of those is broken, then it's going to have to be replaced by a mechanic.

can't replace it myself? How do I check these? I notice it tripping a code at highway speeds?

Look at the sensors under the engine. It may have been broken, bent, pushed out or corroded.
