HONDA ACCORD 2015 SPORT 4 CYLINDER AUTOMATIC

Good afternoon Scotty,

So, I made the wise choice of buying a Honda Accord 2015 Sport from an auction lot (body damage in the rear passenger side) So, outside of the daily start up of the Accord & moving it in and out of the drive way almost daily - the Accord has not been driven on the road for months (perhaps 9-12 months). My chief concern is that being that the Accord has not been driven on the road for almost a year, do you recommend that I clean the intake valves with CRC GCI cleaner?

I changed the engine oil and its filter already; I plan on changing all of its fluids. But, chiefly, I want to know if there's anything that you recommend I do to thoroughly clean the engine to make sure that no kind of deposits builded up in the engine and transmission.

Thank you for your time.

Humbly,

Michael Dominguez

I would just drive it normally and then I would service it after a few weeks just to see if anything else needs messing with while you're servicing it. Generally those are you really don't need GDI cleaning

Okay - But, just for reassurance, I don't have to worry about any sort of particle build-up that I should be concerned about given it's long period of not being driven on a freeway/ road, which you had stated (gasoline & engine oil) is a means of lubricating the engine.

Thank you once again,

Michael Dominguez
