I have a 2001 Ford Excursion with the 6.8L V10. Has 175,000 on it and I noticed while in overdrive and I'm lightly on the gas or going up hills and in the throttle lightly it hesitates and shudders or bucks. I changed the plugs and coils and also had the transmission flushed and filter changed with no change in this condition. Also noticed a raw gas smell from the exhaust.....not sure if it's from this issue or from being the gas hungry V10. No check engine light either. I'm thinking a possible dirty MAF sensor?

Clean the MAF sensor and also pressure test the fuel line.
