:yt:Hey Scotty. I recently got a 2001 Ford Expedition two valve with 71k miles. What do you think of this first gen expedition and the engine? Reliable? Any problems I should look out for?

It is a decent SUV, the motor itself is pretty reliable overall. If you look up motorreviewer.com and select Ford, you can find that motor and it’ll tell you everything you need to know about it. The transmissions were eh, with 70k mi I’d make sure to do a fluid change and replace the filter. But if it’s in good shape shouldn’t have any problem reaching 300k mi in that thing.
