I'm about to tackle replacing my heater core. I'm handy but not a mechanic lol. Any recommendations on things to look out for when replacing? Should I flush my system prior to replacing? Thanks for the help.

I would flush it once you get the core out of the vehicle because if it's shot flushing it with it and won't flush the rest of the system all that well. Now it is a big pain taking that dash apart. So take your time and be sure to disconnect the battery so you don't short anything out
