Ive got a 2001 ford mustang. I was driving hit the brakes and heard a loud grinding sound on the front driver side. Pulled wheel off and covered in brake dust. The Pads have about 80% life left. The rotors look almost dark blue or black but are smooth. What do you think it could be?

Check to make sure the pads are firm in place.

My caliper is frozen it wont release the pads. My next question is should i replace both rotors since they are dark blue
