hey scott, i got 2001 ford taurus ses i just replaced water pump, water pump pulley and belt and now my radiator fans isn't working and when installing part and checking after for leaks and everything things worked great no leaks but now after two days my two 12 inch fans isn't working and im losing coolant bad how can i pin point if the fans or the motor is out and is there a way to get it by to and from work 10 miles back forth till payday. ause I'm a single father on a strict budget and with out destroying the car i even checked if the head gasket is going out by checking oil and thats good too just stumped on what to do next, there's no leaks at all and I just need to be able to get back and forth to work to provide please help
For the fans, check the relays and fuse first. Oh they are ok, make sure you get power at the fans. You can also hot wire the fans to see if they are good.
From r coolant loss, check the radiator cap and make sure it is in a good condition and it is tight, then pressure test the system.
