No. Too many miles, too old, too much money.
That dealer is dreamin...as @yaser said...Too many MILES and Price WAY too HIGH! You can get a Lincoln Towncar for that!
You can get the same taurus with LESS miles and half the price on average.

Too many miles and too many owners and too many uses. I would only consider a Taurus if it was owned by an elderly and has like 50k miles in pristine shape, and then it would be worth 6 7 grand in private party, but for that listing, I would not pay more than 500 bucks, which is probably but the dealer got for it. RUN AWAY! You can get a Camry with less miles cheaper than that. GET A CAMRY if its A to B travel, plus this is V6 get a I4 camry.
I personally think its too high of a price and definitely too many miles. From what I learned from some of Scotty's videos and his thoughts on the Ford Taurus' they are Ford's lower end vehicles for the most part, and aren't usually that reliable, especially the older ones. I can definitely agree a bit to that, as when I was very young in the 1990's, my Uncle had a 92 Ford Taurus and he had lots of problems with it. When it hit 80,000 miles the head gasket blew on it and he got rid of it.
The only thing I can say about this particular one you are looking at, is it has the 3.0L engine (if that's really true), which is probably the same Ford engine that my previous car (03 Mazda Tribute) had. Overall that engine was "relatively reliable" at least with my experience with it. I believe the engine in my Uncle's 92 Taurus was a different size.
no, they transmission problems suspension problems
