Hi Scotty my Lexus ES 330 2004 160,000 miles makes a whining noise. I first believed it was the brakes because the noise would happen occasionally when I braked. But today I turned my car on and as soon as I turned it on the same whining noise appeared. I now believe it’s the serpentine belt what are your thoughts?

Spray some water on the serpentine belt, if the noise goes away, change the belt.
