So I have a 2001 Honda Accord body has about 275,000 miles but engine was replaced about 60 thousand miles ago and transmission just last week which is a four speed automatic and we are still having the same issue does not not want to shift out of first until it reaches about 5 thousand rpms then after only shifts into two gears only was wondering what it could be and what tablet code reader I should get to help out with the diagnosis
It usually takes a high-end professional-grade scan tool ($$$$) to do transmission diagnosis.
Was it a remanufactured transmission such as Jasper? Rebuilt by a local shop? Used transmission from a junkyard?
Since the trans was very recently installed take it back to the shop that did the job.
Could be a bad transmission computer
That's kind of what I'm thinking cuz every time I do research on the topic from like other people they always said it was either faulty solenoids or the PCM was going bad
Did you get a warranty with the new transmission?
So I got it from a buddy that had the same one as he was getting rid of it because he got one that had performance parts in it but he showed me it and let me drive it and worked just fine nothing was wrong wit it until I put it into my car we even put a new torque converter with it and still had the same issue as the old one I took out
So now I am getting a p0700 code with a p0780 what does that mean I replaced all the solenoids and everything on it including the 2nd and 3rd gear clutch pressure switch and still does the same thing but I can now drive in second for about a minute instead of 30 seconds before it cuts out
So now I am getting a p0700 code with a p0780 what does that mean
