Hello Scotty I have a 2001 Lexus ES300. No check engine light. The problem is that when going up hills the car doesn’t want to accelerate much. But once the car gets passed second gear it run fine. It sounds like there is a air leak but I’ve changed all the air intake hoses. Maybe a vacuum leak. Also after being driven a while, when the car takes off from a stop it slowly accelerates.

hire a mechanic to scan the car, have him look at the fuel trims, etc.
