hey scotty! saw your video in Rhode Island welcome back to the east. I've been watching you the past 12 years and you've influenced heavily all my vehicle purchases. I have a 2001 lexus rx300 that I'm being told needs new solenoids for the variable valve timing . would love your opinion. engine runs rough when idling but otherwise smooth. all maintenance is up to date, have had the car since 2011, it's in excellent shape overall, I baby her. would love to hear back from you! - Nick, Long Island, NY

I would fix the issue sooner than later. If the variable valve timing system is messed up then you need to rebuild the engine.
