- Hello Scotty! Thank you so much for all of your videos I've been watching them for several years now and I have learned so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to helping us all out with our cars.
- With that said, I have a 2001 Saturn SC1 Series 3 door. I use this car to get back and forth to work and I really count on her every day! She's a good car she only has about 160,000 miles on it but she runs great. One year I received a auto starter and alarm as a gift it was put on professionally but about you years later there's been some problems. I believe that is the problem so this is what's going on. The service engine light is on now fee wrench is on and also the security light is on. I replaced the starter and that's definitely not the problem and I've also put a fresh battery in there two times already. When I go to start the car it just clicks one click that's it. Now this happens periodically so sometimes it works great for three or four trips then it goes back to the clicking noise but the security light is still on and I've done all of the troubleshooting that I can find on the internet and still no luck. Right now I am trying your reset of the computer by taking the negative off and waiting 5 minutes with the headlights on and let's see if that works. Can you please help me? I would really appreciate any advice that anyone has thank you so very much. God bless everyone.

I never ever advised to put one of those Auto starting systems on they are so insanely complex and so many things can go wrong and I can just about guarantee your problem occurs because that system is not working correctly. I would advise taking it off
