Scotty, loyal subscriber and again in need of your wisdom...
just bought this truck at auction for 1300.00 bucks. It was apparent it needed a alternator. Replaced it, along with new battery. Starts great, but upon driving battery lights flashing when I accelerate and gauges kinda bounce around..after a few miles poops out. Obviously not charging...maybe brand new alternator bad? What else could be happening??

Well do try another alternator but you bought it at auction outside of the car was erector flooded or something and he's either wiring work or computer work you buy an auction car you often buy problems
