Hey Scotty, I just graduated from college and need a cheap reliable vehicle. I'm looking at a 2015 Toyota Corolla L with the 1.8L and automatic transmission. This is located at a Ford dealer and has 289,755 miles. They want $6000 for it, but I think I can negotiate it lower. Would you even consider buying a Corolla with this many miles? Thank you.
I would not. Too many miles in my opinion.
I would pass on it, even though most likely they were highway miles (since they put that much mileage in only 6 years), I am more concerned by how the previous owner took care of the vehicle (engine and transmission especially). I would keep looking.
i think you can beat that deal, i have a '05 with 134k, with $3700 in it after repairs
Even in this market, that’s too much money for that many miles.
Wayyy to much money for that kind of mileage, keep looking..
Not sure about the price. But with the actual car.
I those miles are highway miles, I’d jump at it. If those miles are uber, Lyft, or ride share miles, probably not.
