Dealer not honoring repair. What should I do?

I will try to keep this short as possible.

Early July I purchased a 2022 4Runner TRD Pro(Lime Rush). It had 47k miles and looked in great shape and I was getting a great deal (41k). I purchased it from an Audi Dealer in KC that has a sister relationship with the Toyota Dealer near me. When I inspected the 4runner I noticed the passenger valve cover had a seep coming from it. I pointed it out to the salesmen and they agreed it was there and said they would talk with there manager on a reduced price. When he came back, instead of a reduced price. He told me the dealer would take care of the repair free of charge. So about a month later we got the truck in for the repair and the tech told me he was going to take it to the sister dealer(toyota dealer near me) for the repair. Okay, no problem.

The following day I get a call telling me the Toyota dealer has denied the warranty claim on the valve cover. The Audi dealer tried to have the repair done with the existing warranty remaining on the 4runner. (6yr/60k powertrain). Well to me, that sounds unfortunate to the Audi dealer I bought it from. Because I was told they would take care of the repair. The salesmen never once mentioned it would be a warranty claim or anything like that. I was told the issue would be fixed, so that is what I expect. I've spoke with the Audi dealers service manager and he agrees that a repair or some type of compensation should be given to me. But he doesn't have the power to make that call, it has the come from the salesmen and his boss. Problem is, salesmen has ghosted me. So at this point, should i just show up at the dealership and raise hell? Honestly, I would of found a different 4runner if there wasn't a price adjustment or repair promised.

Its around 1k to get it repaired. So am I making a big deal out of something I should let go? Or should I stand my ground, make them real uncomfortable for an afternoon, and warn other people of this dealer? Mind this dealer has a very good rating. 4.7 out of 5 stars.

Thanks for reading my rant and taking time to respond.

P.S. Just to add context. I spent about 2 weeks looking for a 4runner. This one had a Carfax report and showed it was clean. It sat between 2 dealers for over 7 months before being sold. Both reporting an "inspection" report being done. Saying it was clean of any issues. Crazy how two dealerships missed something I found within 2 minutes of looking under the hood. Since the purchase I've done a deep inspection backed by the shop i personally use and trust. The 4runner is in excellent shape, minus the valve cover seep.

Do you have anything in writing from these slimeballs?

I think I would avoid all future interactions with them,  walk away and never set foot in there again.

@imperator Other than the texts messages of them agreeing to schedule the repair. No

you're out of luck I'm afraid. You could tell the general manager about your experience, but I wouldn't be surprised if he blows you off.
