I have a 2014 Fiat 500L Trekking that was shaking a little when accelerating. My mechanic adjusted the transmission with his computer, which helped it shift better, but there's still some shaking.
He suggested trying an anti-chatter liquid before spending money on bigger repairs. Has anyone dealt with this before? If so, what product would you recommend that's safe to use in this Fiat?
That thing has a DCT (dual-clutch) automated transmission. Chances are your clutches are wearing out. No additive is going to help that. You could check with a Fiat dealer to see if there are any relevant TSBs or recalls. I could not find any at our usual source, lemon-manuals.la:
Have you checked your engine and transmission mounts to make sure your engine and trans aren't jumping around during acceleration?
