Hey Scott,
hope this message finds you well, I have a 2001 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 3.4L V-6, when I take off from a stop light, or even leaving my driveway the SUV hesitates, I even have to push down on the gas to get it going can you possibly have some clues as to what it may be?

Start with changing the fuel filter & pressure testing the fuel pump -
