The first thing would be taking it to a good mechanic to check it completely.
Everything was checked out and fixed and I bought it off some old guy who couldn’t drive anymore hence why so cheap
I mean you can't go wrong with $1k; drive it until it starts falling apart then dump it. Just don't put too much money into it.
