I have a 2003 Kia Sedona that is making a very loud whistling noise and it sounds like it's coming from the backside of the intake manifold. It's not the any of the belts or the timing chain or a bearing. I have checked all of these things. It does it when it is just idling or when you put it in any other gear (reverse or drive) but not from a cold start. I have sprayed soapy water trying to find the leak but no luck. I have replaced the MAF sensor in it 3 times thinking maybe that was the problem because I did the whole unplug the MAF sensor while the car is running bit and the car still ran and didn't die after it was unplugged. I also noticed that when I went to plug or unplug the connector to the MAF sensor in as I was doing so the noise would stop but only if the connector was in half way or you held it just right halfway in or out. PLEASE help!
Please upload a video to Youtube and post the link here.
Ok so I happen to know a guy... Turns out he's a certified mechanic! He had a look at it yesterday and his thoughts were that the timing belt is too tight. How hard is this to fix?
Sorry I'm new at this does this one

And the reason this video is so long is because that's how long it takes on a cold start before the noise starts sorry
I will thank you!
All the best!
Ok well here's the thing I don't know where the vacuum leak is coming from but I do have a hissing noise coming from the same place as he does in this video. So where do I start?? Sorry maybe I'm just so frustrated I can't see the forest for the trees.
LOL, take it to your trusted mechanic for a quick diagnosis. If you want to try again, use this trick -

I don't have the money to take my vehicle to a mechanic that's why I was hoping somebody on here could be some help now I have another question where exactly is my EGR valve on a 2003 Kia Sedona 3.5?
Does this help? - https://www.kiaownersclub.co.uk/threads/egr-valve.8750/
Sorry I'm new at this. {black}:scared:
I didn't know the other video didn't upload.
Are you referring to the screeching right at the end of your video? I doubt if that’s a vacuum leak..
Yes it is what I am referring to. It takes about 3 minutes from a cold start before the noise will start and like I had said previously the timing belt and the other police and the other belts are working correctly I just learned from the previous owner that they had the brakes done and soon after if not immediately after that's when the noise occurred but it has not moved out of the driveway for me to use the brakes so I'm confused as to why the noise started after the brake job was done
