[Solved] Check engine light after replacing fuel injectors.

I drive a 2010 Subaru Outback 2.5 L. I replaced my fuel injectors because I wanted to get rid of the rough idle. Before I changed them the car ran decent and had no lights. I should have made sure that the injector pack I got came with seals but unfortunately it didn’t. So I used the old injector seals. I didn’t change all 4 because the furthest injector on the drivers side was tough to get to. The car on start up seems like it wants to stall and I feel uneven and white exhaust coming out the exhaust pipe. I got my computer scanned and these are the codes that it read. P0172,P0102, P0113, P0137, P0140, and C0057. I don’t know if going to a shop so they can calibrate the injectors or reset the computer is necessary but I’m not entirely sure what to do.

Why did you choose to replace the injectors?

@hixster to try and get rid of the rough idle. I’ve heard that could be a reason why it’s been running weird idk.

@Koreyw1234 without proper analysis you could replace an injector when all it might need is cleaning. The 'parts cannon' approach of trying to fix something (by simply replacing parts), it's a bad idea.. Waste of time/money, introduces more variables ..

I don't think you should go changing fuel injectors when you've got multiple air intake and O2 sensor codes.

@imperator so that rough idle I’ve been trying to get rid of was nothing more then an air intake and o2 sensor probelm?

you need to address your trouble codes first, and then see. That's what they're there for. You don't go chasing things that are most likely working fine.

white exhaust coming out the exhaust pipe

Have you checked for a head gasket leak? Subaru 2,5 engines of that vintage are prone to head gasket failure.

@chucktobias I don’t think that has anything to do with my check engine and codes because the exhaust problem wasn’t happening before I changed the injectors.
