2015 A4 - No start

Hi all,

2015 Audi A4 - Quatro - Manual

I recently had a p2015 error on the car. It was resolved that by replacing the intake manifold. Afterwards the car drove very well.

Yesterday, I took it for a drive and had an air compressor sound under heavy acceleration. I know this is likely due to a vacuum leak somewhere, probably dealing with the turbo (sound is coming from driver side wheel area so assuming it is the pipe to the throttle body). The car was running fine until it got to full operating temperature and then it started misfiring badly (p0300). I got the car home and drove it later it in the day. Again, it started out totally fine and then same thing. P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304. Now the car won't start. Could this all be from the intake pipe? Did something with the recent work cause another problem?

what was wrong with it?

Vacuum leaks definitely can cause misfiring. It's less likely that it would prevent an engine from starting.

It's very possible. Pretty hard to tell from here. Somebody will have to go in there and check the work.

what happens when you try? Have you done any troubleshooting, like spraying starting fluid into it?

@imperator The manifold was a worn linkage issue.

The car fires up and then dies pretty quickly. I have not tried spraying fluid yet. I noticed the car would not start without the intake pipe on in the past.

yes sounds like leaning out. to much air or not enough fuel.
