Sell it. The next owner should be a junkyard.
If someone is willing to buy a rusted out SUV (knowingly) then absolutely do that, because it's more likely you'll get metal scrap value.
You really can't correctly replace frame rot unless you buy an entire frame and take the entire vehicle off and do a frame replacement.
Repairing the frame is only a temporary solution. Rust is cancer. I had a 1999 Ford Ranger, and the rear frame started to rot out. I had a certified welder weld up the frame rails with new metal. A few years later, a crossmember rotted to the point where the right frame rail cracked a little farther down the rail. I scrapped it. The engine still ran like no tomorrow, which is a shame.
It's not worth a full frame replacement unless it has sentimental value and you're willing to pay a boatload of money for a frame swap.
Junk it. It’s not worth the expense.
