Hello Scotty,
I’m in search of a used vehicle just to get to point A to B basically, a beater. I found a 2001 Toyota Camry with 97k miles on it for 6 grand. What are your thoughts? Do you think it’s a good buy? Thank you.

Those were good cars, and there are still lots on the road so a good supply of parts for it. However it is getting pretty old.
What kind of condition is it in? What engine is in it?
The 2.2 was the known sludger I think, but still good if you care for it.
6k is pretty high unless it is in super condition.
