Do you find the early avalons don't have the correct rating to handle the weight of the engine? I have a 2002 I bought for 5k a few years ago, and it was babied in a garage with only 28k miles on. It bottomed out quite a bit so I replaced the struts. After a year and a half, it is doing the same thing again. I'm wondering if I need a strut assembly with a proper rating to handle the weight of the engine.

I never really saw that problem it could be somebody put cheap crappy struts on them I would use KYB struts myself they handle much better
