My dad has 2002 V6 3.8 L Camaro with 5 speed manual transmission. Recently it has started to die while driving. Now it turns on, starts losing power and dies, gauges not working and AC compressor not coming on. Has check engine light for a while. Took to local mechanic and says it needs computer. Ordered OEM from dealer and they are unable to program it. They say they are having issues matching VIN#. Any idea what’s going on? By the way love your videos...best on YouTube next to Bad Bunny 😀
That just shows how awful the idiots at the dealer are. Too stupid to install their own electronics. Now your at the mercy of finding a shop that specializes in Camaro's
Did you get it scanned for any codes?
Go to another dealer. They should definitely be able to program their own computers.
