2002 Chrysler Neon 121,000
i need all motor mounts and transmission mounts....what would be a better brand....I can't afford OEM...so looking for next best thing. And how many transmission mounts does this car have
If you go to a parts store like NAPA, AutoZone, etc. they should be able to look up what engine mounts your car needs.
Unfortunately, unless possibly looking at specialty high-performance items, aftermarket mounts are pretty bad, but at 22 years old that car is well beyond its life expectancy anyway so it may not matter how long the mounts last as long as they actually fit. (Even that can be a crap shoot given Chinese manufacturing tolerances on aftermarket parts.)
It appears that AutoZone at least has a "limited lifetime warranty" on their Duralast mounts so they'll be happy to give you new ones every six months or however long it takes for them to fall apart.
