My friend has a 02 Chrysler Voyager van, he says his car shuts off when it’s driving and also it shuts off when it’s stop on a red light. Any idea on what it could be.

How many miles on the car?
Any code?
I’m not sure about codes because we took it to a mechanic and he can’t find the problem. But I’m sure it has 200,000 on it.

When was the last time the fuel filter was changed? Also, did your mechanic test to make sure the fuel pump was ok or not? I am not saying it is 100% that but can’t rule it out.

Who knows when the fuel Filter been changed but we should check it out. I don’t think the mechanic tested the fuel pump. But thanks for the feed back.
