So I have a 2002 dodge Dakota with 213,000 miles.4x4 automatic. And the battery was being drained while driving it. So I had to replace the battery and the alternator checked and it was good. So after I replaced the battery it was good for a couple hours then I hit the gas decently hard and the battery gauge started dropping and the gauge won’t go back up at all. It just keeps draining. Please help me.

Load test the alternator. You may have a faulty one.
