I Hi Scotty, been watching your videos for quite a while, and have about 25 yrs behind me myself, 5 dealerships in Tx area. And I still learn from u. Thanks.
Now, I have a 2002 Ford F150 Super cab XLT w/ 4.2 Auto 2 W/D. 371,000.
My problem is, I turn the key on, and it blows the anti theft fuze every freaking time. 30 Amp fuze.
New ignition switch, new Clock spring(which it needed anyway, air bag light was on since I inherited it from my dad in 2019).
Still doing it. Just started it all of a suddenly 1 night after turning a corner to the right.. Just lost all power .
I thought the pats module first, but no wayno. Then ignition switch, and it made it run, drove it 4 blocks and it did the same crap. Turns over fine, but wont run. Im stumped.
Any help or advise at this point will be greatly appreciated, or a quick lead for another direction to look at.
I just dont want to go pay the Ford house an ungodly amount and my first born to figure it out.
Thanks Scotty, I look forward to your advise.

Well you've got a massive short somewhere. You turn the key in. It pops that big ass fuse. Something that's going to pop has going to be kind of obvious like the starters going bad or the wiring shorted out somewhere directly from the ignition switch shouldn't be that hard to figure out where it is using a test meter
