Just came across a 2011 toyota camry with automatic transmission for 114k miles on it. It is a clean title, owned by a private party, no accident. The price is 6500$. I do know you had made a video on it 4 years back. But does that still holds for 2011 camry? If everything checks out in the pre buy inspection with a mechanic, should I buy it ? I'm a student and planning to keep the car for atleast next 4 years.
A 2011 Camry 2.5L automatic is my daily driver. It's been a 'boring car' as Scotty described in his video.
Boring = no problems, great gas mileage, comfortable ride.. yeah, for 5 years it's been boring me, in a good way.
Look for signs of oil burning. Some engines of that generation were known to burn oil. If it was burning oil, probably not worth it.
