Hey Scotty, I've seen many of your YouTube videos and most recently on the 2010 Toyota Tundra and how they're built to last, but to avoid the newer ones? How "new" do you consider "Newer". I just bought my first Toyota. Bucket list kinda stuff. 2015 Toyota Tundra SR5, what are your thoughts on longevity? 87k miles, has the 5.7L V8, dealer installed brandy new muffler system, brand new Michelin tires... I "upgraded" from a 2017 Silverado, V6, dropped the transmission, 92k miles. Never doing GM again.
Thanks for the insight!

Those V8s are very reliable but make your you maintain it. The main problem with the Tundra happened when Toyota dropped the reliable V8 in favor of a troublesome twin-turbo V6. (Aside problems with frame rust that some of the older ones experienced.)
