Hey Scotty,
I was looking at a Manual 2002 Ford F-150 with 98k+ miles and being sold for a little over $6000. Is it too old to purchase? Would it be a good daily driver? And would it be expensive on maintenance and repairs?
Grandmas fiancé has a 2003 or 4 f150 with 149k, he drives like its NASCAR and the truck runs great. Try to get the price down a little bit, throw around that its an old truck and try to point out the imperfections. But if you take care of it, it will last.

it can be a good truck if it checks out ok by your mechanic.

Truck could be great if it got a clean bill of health. Manual is a plus and there will never be a short supply of parts for you.
