Scotty,
Love your videos. I have a 2002 Ford Taurus DOHC with 114,000 miles on it. My problem is that the Oil Pressure line keeps going on. I recently changed the Oil Pressure Switch as well as changed from Synthetic to Conventional Oil as I was told that the Oil might be the issue as its too thin with Synthetic. I still drive about 5 miles and the light goes on. At my wits end to try to figure out what else can be causing this. My son wants to take the car to college with him and besides this issue, the car runs great. Thanks, for helping
Get the oil pressure tested with a gauge. Your 21 year old oil pump may be going out, or the pickup screen could be clogged. Use only the grade and weight oil specified in your owners manual. What you were told is baloney.
