Hey Scotty My car wont startup and it was running a few weeks ago.
I didn't do much outside normal maintenance on the car
plugs, coils and a oil change, crankshaft and camshaft sensors
car cranks but wont start now
changed battery, alternator (last month) and fuel pump and throttle body (tps sensor attached) 2 days ago.
i got a starter on standby but i don't think its the issue,
please help
Squirt some starter fluid in the intake and crank it. If it fires, you have a fuel problem. If not, you have an ignition problem. Go back over your work and find out what was done incorrectly. How about some codes?
I get codes P0123 and P0222
I had this car for 4 years and I have done all the work on her.
I know the car inside and out
I have changed coils and plugs before so i know they are gapped.
and the altenator was changed weeks before it stopped runnig
the battery is new and theres like 3 tubes and 4 bolts on a throttle body
the fuel pump in the back seat I changed the entire assembly so there is no room for error
and other ideas because i have been over and over what i have done crossing T's and Dotting I's
Why the down vote? Those are explanations of the codes you provided.
Not sure what happened, I didnt add any votes. I appreciate all the help. I tested the TPS signals on the new part and the harness also.
The TPS on the throttle body you replaced may just be a bad part. Check the wiring to the TPS for corrosion and tightness.
