Hi Scotty,
I have the 2002 Honda Accord Coupe 3.0 Vtec Auto with 110,000 miles on the clock, and I have a problem with a loud clunking when driving as well as creaking too, it's worse when dry and going over bumps. I have had the Bushes replaced and ball joints but the noises are still there? Even tried removing the anti-roll bar too... my mechanic can't put his finger on the cause either? Any ideas would be hugely appreciated,
Many Thanks
Les.
Then whoever your taking it to is an idiot. It's has to be something in the suspension nothing else can make that kind of a noise.
Here's what Scotty suggests.

Could be worn sway bar LINKS, which also have joints. I had to replace my front links recently. This video shows you where they are in the front and what they look like and how to change them.

Grab the link and see if it moves easily or observe excessive slack at the joints. If there is, the links need to be replaced.
If your new links have grease zirks, grease the joints before installing them because there will be much less clearance to attach a grease gun to the zirks of the new links after they're mounted.
