Vehicle Specs: 2002 JEEP LIBERTY SPORT 2WD 3.7L 400,000+ AUTOMATIC
2002 Jeep Liberty had a code 0500 had the VSS on the transmission replaced as well as the sensor on the rear differential. As well as a short in the rear differential where a wire had rubbed against a part and was repaired. Everything worked fine then about a day later the following stopped functioning:
-interior/dome lights wouldn't turn on
-as well as the key fob stopped opening the doors (key fob works)
-the lights over the radio are off and the radio won't turn on (lights below radio are still on)
-the headlights won't turn on when the vehicle is turned off
-the unlock on the door locks/rear gate lock handle/middle console WON'T unlock any the doors or raise/lower the windows
-alarm won't work
Now IF the key is turned to the ON position (vehicle doesn't have to be actually turned on just in the next click BEFORE turning on) the following WORKS:
-Headlights WILL turn on
-windows will lower and rise
-door locks/rear gate lock will lock & unlock when depressing the lock control on the door or the middle console
-key fob WILL unlock all the doors including the rear gate lock
Still WON'T work when vehicle is in the OFF or ON position are:
-interior lights/dome lights
-radio lights/radio
-alarm won't work
When taken back to shop they said that they didn't know what was wrong but suspected short. As well as fuse #15 kept blowing when they'd tried putting it back. {black}:idontknow:

Any ideas as to what needs to be repaired would be GREATLY appreciated because can't seem to find any shop that can tell me what needs to be repaired.
Thank You 🙂
of course check for any blowing fuses but the problem is you had a wiring short when you get a wiring short generally on those it will feedback and wreck the driver circuit in the computer which can do all kinds of crazy stuff on computers getd shorts internally
