Hey, I'm currently looking at a 2002 ls 430 ul with 236,000km. Guy said mostly all bells and whistles work as they should and mechanically everything is great. He's asking 4500$ which I know is a good price considering the window sticker. Just wondering if there's anything I should know about it before I actually purchase it? Thanks.

Private. I'm going to get an inspection and he already said it has an exause manifold leak which he claims the mechanic says 4 to 600$ but we will see once I get it inspected. He wanted a partial payment to hold it for me but I'm obviously not paying for something I haven't even seen yet.
Smells like a scam with the partial payment to hold it.

Realize that the LS is the most expensive Lexus sedan, as you saw the window sticker. The parts are extremely expensive even if you want to do the repair yourself. They are well built cars, but things will break, especially for a 20 years old car, and they aren't cheap.
