I own a 2002 Mercedes Benz c230 Kompresser with 135500 miles on it. It still runs perfectly fine and I haven’t had very much trouble with it. The only major problem with it is that the sunroof will open on its own but will not close on its own. What do you think is wrong with the sunroof
I don't know this particular car, but on some cars the automatic closing of windows and sun roof need to be reset after the battery is disconnected. If this is the case with your MB it is probably written in the instruction manual. Usually some sort of press and hold a knob.
Some kind of electronic issue
This is a very interesting problem. In school we looked at switches that would become broken or develop shorts. I would start by checking the switch with a mulitimeter checking to make sure the wiring and electronics are in good condition.
