2002 Mustang GT fuel trim question

Is it normal for the long term fuel trim to vary from 5.5 to 14? Even with the MAF disconnected I get the similar results. It happens on both banks. The low fuel trim values occurs at RPM above 2000.

while driving, yes.

At idle, 14% is too high and indicates lean mixture.

I reset the electronics by jumpering the positive and negative cables together for 1 hour. I did the idle relearn after that. It improved the long term fuel trim to 10.8/8.6 (bank 1/bank 2) at idle. My understanding is that 10.8 is high but that 8.6 is tolerable. I might try the ATS fuel cleaner that Scotty recommended in his videos and see what that does.
