I own a 2002 Sierra 1500 2wd, 5.3l, 206,000 miles, automatic, that runs great, whether at idle, normal driving or under max throttle. But for the last 3 months gas mileage has dropped about 18%. I’ve cleaned MAF and throttle body with appropriate cleaners and replaced air filter. No codes show on my $100 scanner. Plugs are 45,000 miles old. Any ideas?

Try a fuel system cleaning.
Other than that, you would need to run some diagnostics to see what the numbers are.

Try cleaning or replacing the MAP sensor.
You can check with diagnostic data if it works, and avoid wasting money replacing it.
You never clean these.
