Hi Scotty,
I have a 2002 manual Toyota Echo with almost 200,000 miles on it. This car has been great with no issues since I purchased it used back in 2007 when it had only 30,000 miles.
Lately it has been surging on acceleration. Not all the time just sometimes.
The car shifts fine but I am wondering why it surges. Could it be the injectors being dirty? I cleaned the MAF and put some injector cleaner which seems to help a little but at this point am not sure.
What could the issue be?
Thank you Scotty
Rafael
