[Solved] Drove car some time with low oil level, damaged?

I unknowingly drove my 2013 kia rio 3/4 quarts short on oil for about 150 miles or so. The oil pressure light would come on only for a few seconds when turning left, but would turn off when straightening out. Would the constant on/off of oil pressure cause lasting damage? I don't hear any unusual noises coming from the engine. Thanks!

That doesn't sound pretty good. Anytime you see the low oil pressure light, it means there is not enough pressure (lack of oil) for the oil to be pumped through the system properly, thus leading to improper lubrication. The next time you do an oil change, check for any metal shavings/pieces in the old oil. It may be fine depending on how long there was low oil pressure.

You should have immediately addressed the issue as soon as the low oil pressure light came on instead of driving like that for 150 miles.
