I'm having trouble diagnosing this one. I'm getting random misfire across all 8 cylinders and blinking CEL. My truck has 157k miles, I am second owner, just purchased the truck about a month ago. Original owner had every service record and shop record of the truck since date of purchase in glovebox with no known issue of this in the past.
This all started after a fuel up, drove about 30-40 miles on the tank and my started jerking and running very rough and eventually stalled. I cannot drive the truck at this point, it starts fine but once RPMS starts to level out it starts bouncing around between 1,200 and 900, then RPMS drop around 400, this happens for a few seconds and it stalls.
A couple things I have tried; Drained fuel tank, there was a good bit of debris in the first bucket along with a very orangish colored fuel. I have replaced all vacuum lines and clamps, replaced spark plugs, cleaned throttle body, cleaned MAF sensor, replaced air filter, replaced fuel filter, checked purge valved operation, checked fuel pressure on fuel rail, it's at 46 PSI, I have sprayed around every gasket, hose inlet and outlets with carb cleaner and battery has checked out good, only about 2 months old anyway. I'm completely stumped, any input would be great. I have a video of the issue if I could send it somewhere to be viewed. Thanks!

How much gas did you put in when you got gas?
It makes me think something happened when you got gas, Orange colored fuel jumps out to me. I wouldn't think there was any way off road diesel could have gotten in it, but they dye it red. If you put some of that in, I would think the issues would be worse.
How much did you drive it from the time you bought it?
Old gas sitting in it for a long time with ethanol, can get sludgy, and sometimes turn orange.
Also, if it had some water in it, could be rusty water/gas.
How much did you drain the gas out? Did you do it, add some new gas, and drain again until it comes out clean?
@nlord I filled up, so roughly 20-22 gallons. I drove it immediately after. I also had a small gas can I use for my mower from this same station, I filled it up a couple months prior to this, just to check for reference and the fuel was normal looking compared to what was in my truck. There is no off road diesel at these specific pumps, just regular diesel and the diesel pumps are separate from the regular gas. I drove around about 30-40 miles before it started acting up. I drained the tank completely at 3/4 fuel left which left me with about 21 gallons of gas. The first bucket I drained had a good bit of sentiment in the bottom but the rest were clear but, still orange tinged. I added 5 gallons of Premium gas to it after the drain just to see results but it was pretty much the same. I started the truck drove about 2 miles, stopped at a stop sign started to idle sporadic like the video then it stalled. I drove home and it’s been here since, until I find a remedy.
